Bill Gates And GMO Cronies Plan $30 Million Seed Vault While Poisoning The Planet
Via wakingtimes:
The question is, what global catastrophic occurrence do the investors
in this seed vault anticipate? If you follow the money trail it isn’t
hard to figure out. Guess who is participating in this ‘noble’ project
aside from the Norwegians:
· The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
· US Agirbusiness giant, Dupont/Pioneer (owner of GMO seed patents)
· The Syngenta Foundation – Swiss maker of GMO seed and pesticides.
· The Rockefeller Foundation – created the ‘gene revolution with over $100 million invested in GM science since the 1970’s
· CGIAR, a global network of Rockefeller Foundation supporters

Chipotle First U.S. Chain Restaurant To Label GMOs
Via nationofchange:
Chipotle has officially announced that it will not only be labeling GMOs on the ingredients list of food products, but phasing out all GMOs on the menu.
From the Chipotle website:
On July 24th (and even before then), we are calling for all concerned citizens, those who just want to eat real food that’s not polluted with GMOs, activists, and others to create and upload a video of any length telling Monsanto why you stand against their control of the food supply and mutation of crops worldwide. The Monsanto Video Revolt is a manifestation of resistance against the GMO juggernaut that is Monsanto and its attempt at genetically manipulating every piece of food on your dinner table.

From the Chipotle website:
“Our goal is to eliminate GMOs from Chipotle’s ingredients, and we’re working hard to meet this challenge…For example, we recently switched our fryers from soybean oil to sunflower oil. Soybean oil is almost always made from genetically modified soybeans, while there is no commercially available GMO sunflower oil. Where our food contains currently unavoidable GM ingredients, it is only in the form of corn or soy.”Join the Monsanto Video Revolt!

At Least We Changed The Conversation
MarketWatch Commentary featuring this:
"For Monsanto it comes down to saving the 9 billion people expected to populate the planet by 2050.
Monsanto is the company that allows farmers to grow more food with less land, water and energy."

That was a horribly biased article, and I have never seen so many ignorant comments in one forum. The word "corporation" is not synonymous with "evil". Genetically modified food will not turn you into zombies or cause your children to have three arms and a tail. If it wasn't for modern farming techniques including genetic modification, and large farming corporations, a large portion of the world population would starve to death. Contrary to the misinformation being spread below, we could not feed the world by "supporting local farmers". It is the same mindset that insists that "organic" food is better for you, despite scientific studies showing that there is no health advantage. It is because of people that think like this that DDT is still banned and millions of people needlessly die of malaria. Instead of using logic and science to determine what is healthy and what is not, the commentors on this forum seem to go with what "feels right". You should all be thanking Monsanto for producing so much food, keeping food prices low, and keeping starvation to a minimum around the world. Instead you demonize them for producing something you need and selling it to you at a price you can afford. If you don't like it, then don't buy it, but don't get in their way of providing food for the rest of us. I prefer not to starve.
