Salon: Poll: 29 Percent Say They Believe They'll Have To Act "In Order To Protect Our Liberties" In The Next Few Years

The poll also found that 25 percent of those surveyed “think that facts about the shootings at Sandy Hook elementary last year are being hidden.” 11 percent are unsure.

Interesting. But the question is so vague, if you have any knowledge of current events you think you would have to concede that a revolution at least 'might' be necessary in the near future.

True, true. Polls are polls. However, the fact that Salon posted a poll that asked these questions and got these answers is a statement in and of itself. Were these questions even being asked two, three, five years ago? My observation is that talk of revolution has largely replaced arguments for reform in the informed public discourse. This change has taken place quite rapidly after the naive hopes stirred by Obama quickly became disillusionment and desperation. The time has come when those who would cling to their conditioning will be forever cleaved from the reality on the ground. They are unwilling to sacrifice their static paradigm to prevent real tragedy, and so have become tyrannical in their fanaticism. However, for some, the cognitive dissonance has become so deafening as to catapult them into the waking nightmare that is a world gone mad. The results of the Sandy Hook question go a long way to illustrate this point. The idea of government as organized criminal enterprise is gaining ground in the mainstream, and 'false-flag' is now a part of their vocabulary. These are promising trends. However, I find it doubtful that the bulk of so-called moderates, left or right, will have the fortitude to give up their comforting delusions to see that their entire lives have been spent in the service of empty rhetoric used to justify some of the most heinous and horrific acts in modern history. Those who do manage to break free will likely find themselves filled with an irrational rage as they have never experienced. Hopefully this can be directed at the deserving parties and not at senseless infighting amongst ourselves. God help us if Syria is our crystal ball.
