First, excellent first post sir. Even I could not withstand the dullness of this headline long enough to consider the ramifications, and the mainstream media capitalized on this fact to push though a superficial glance at someone who they could have just as easily ruined politically, simply by reporting all of the facts. The worst part is, I barely noticed until I got to the second article, or should I say the first report of any actual substance. I remember that chapter from Billionaires and Ballot Bandits and they still got me to ignore this quite unsensational headline to what is a mind-boggling story. Greg Palast, you are my hero! Sadly, even with the admirable muck-racking, this is still not news. Another bankster strategically placed to undermine whats left of our democracy and dismantle the legal barriers to their unseemly and quite criminal dealings. People power has kept her shut out since 2008, will we let her slip in now without a whimper? But what can we do?
